Anybody else here pleasently surprised by this latest release, at least speedwise in comparison to IE6? I have always prefered IE over Netscape for the speed reason, but have not had very good luck with their latest release so I decided to try the newest incarnation of netscape and I must say that it's pretty stable so far and speedwise is about the same as IE6. Me like!

I used it on my Mac and have had no complaints. I switched to Mozilla and have had even fewer problems.

Try Mozilla

I love it

I switched after I found all the things IE6 disables when you right click

Like opening a web page in a new page so I can find out the URL :D

veryape, ditto on almost everything you said. Netscape 6.2.1 is very quick.. except for the initial load time of Netscape itself.

Yea, i've been using Mozilla and recently Opera as my main browser for years. Opera is about the most stable of the bunch in my opinion.

Im using Mozilla and OmniWeb on my Mac (OmniWeb is Opera-like, but only for Mac OS). I use Opera on my main rig because Mozilla wont build on it.

NS 6.2 is very fast and stable for me. It also looks better, but I've always prefered the graphic presentation of NS over IE. :D

Running on a T-Bird 1.33 GHz, 512 MB PC-133.

Anyone got the latest, NS 6.21, yet? What changed?
