i kinda feel bad for him. feels like he was run outta town... kinda unfair to treat a coach who took the team to the finals two straight years. oh well... bring on doc rivers!

what morons. the nets organization has just been SOOO stupid over the last 6 months. 🙁

they should NEVER have let Eddie Jordan go if they KNEW they were going to fire byron scott.

good i hate indecisiveness.

If they were going to do this they should have just gone ahead and made the change during the offseason, stupid to wait until now to do it.

Wow. Totally uncalled for, in my opinion. Byron Scott is a great coach. A team doesn't make the NBA finals for two straight seasons with just good players on the roster.

he was a good coach...i don't think you can put the whole blame of not winning the finals on one person, even if it is the head coach

the writing has been on the wall though, ever since j. kidd called him out

man, I didn't see that one coming. Nets have made it to the finals 2 years in a row.

yes, but, they have lost like 5 of 6 and are 22-20. for a 2 time eastern conference defending champ, that is pretty lousy. However, I think scott was a good coach and that it was dumb to fire him. Im just sayin why they did it.

who cares. the east is still inferior to the west.

this year it's not so clear. Pistons have been playing well, so have the pacers. Pacers have beaten spurs (89-79), mavs, houston, and made it close with Sac.

Granted if the fantastic 4 for lakers are healthy, the championship still goes through LA.
