I have only just learnt about DD-WRT fw and its ability to enhance a standard broadcom wifi router, but i have also come across the Draytek 2900 series of wifi routers which come standard with Qo
S.
Im hoping that someone in this community has experience with both products and can differentiate them (apart from the initial cost).
Thanks in advance.

PS. A little about my current set up.
Motorola Cable Modem -> Linksys SPA 2102 ATA -> D-Link DI714P+ wifi router.
I also have a D-Link 2100AP (Repeater Mode) which i cant get to work properly.
I have a granny flat at the far end of the back yard (about 30m from the 714P+ Access Point) and i need to get a good clean signal to it. The 2100AP should do the job, but i just cant get it working right, and im considering upgrading to some new gear.
The Draytek V2900VG could replace the SPA2102 ATA and the DI714P+, or i could simply replace the DI714P+ with a DD-WRT enabled wifi router.
Hence the question for this thread about the comparison of functionality of the DD-WRT enabled wifi router versus the Draytek.
