Netopia R7200

HI, anyone know where i can find the manual/software for this router?

I have no clue how to connect to this router to configure it, all i have is the password.

any help or direction to configure this router would be great!!

Not a freebie, but it's someplace to start.

i telnet into the router

but all im presented with is "#" sign.
anyone have experience with it....
or do i have to connecto to the router via the serial in the back?

Do you do the "Telnet 192.168.0.1" from the command line?

Have you tried "admin" as the user and "admin" or "1234" as the password? Maybe it'sstill at it's default settings?

Is there a "reset" button on the bottom that you have press with something tiny like an unbent paperclip?

Just throwing stuff out there...

Hi sorry i should have been more clear...

yea i did telnet IP, then was presented with a screen to tell me to enter the name and then password. I entered that and then the next command line is "#"

so its

name:***
password:*****
#

and thats it. anything i type in and enter it would say
; error -120: syntax error

i couldnt do much so i just exit. =|

Hopefully, the gurus here might have more info than I; who knows? Possibly, that "#" prompt acutally means something to someone....maybe you'll find help yet.

I believe Control-N will get you back to the menu interface. They added in the command line interface a year or so ago, and it stays in that mode even if you log out, until you change back manually.

The manual was freely available on Netopia's site last time I checked.
