Having not used netmeeting in a while, you'll have to forgive me if I'm wrong.

But you need to setup netmeeting so that you can accept calls. Once that's up you need to give the person that will connect to you your IP address. You can determine your IP by using winipcfg in Win9x/ME or Start -> Run -> cmd [enter] ipconfig [enter] in WinNT/2k/XP.

From NetMeeting's main UI, Help->About will show you what your current ip address is as well.

Most video cameras have an auto-off of five minutes...most cannot be re-configured to stay is rec/pause mode. NetMeeting preceeds firewire, so that will probably not work. Using regular RCA A/V cables, hook it up to the video-in of your video card or tv card, and you should be good to go.

If you don't have the hardware, you can always pick up a webcam for pretty cheap...just don't get Xircom (mostly sold under IBM relabel), and there are one or two others that are pretty bad. Intel cameras are really good regardless of the OS, as is most Logitechs and Phillips ToUCam Pro.
