NetMeeting & ME ???

Hello ,

I installed NetMeeting version 3.01 I think , when I try to start in ME , it says "NetMeeting can't sart, please restart a computer" .... on Win98 comp it works just fine (well , not really fine, but still works)

And I really need to install NetMeeting there... please help me 😉

i have no idea using netmeeting in winme though.

what did you do? installed winme, then use windows update to get netmeeting?

no , I just downloaded netmeeting as different software ...

try to uninstall it, and then go to windows update and install it again.

open up your IE, go to Tools -> Windows Update

huh?! you are using winme and you don't have windows update? this is funny. click on the start menu, do you see windows update there? if you also don't see it, then something else must be wrong. when you install winme, the windows update should appear in the start menu and ie.

In Start menu I could have deleted it earlier ... I don't remember 🙂 , but there's no in IE ... but why should ME have "windows update" ?

why shouldn't? just like there is live update in win98se, where you can d/l and install the most updated stuff MS has.

Anyway, go here:
Update

and click on windows update, it should bring you to where you should.
