Netmeeting issue

I am trying to get Netmeeting to run. I am running W2K with Netmeeting 3.01, which is included of course in W2K. The webcam is a Philips ToUcam Pro.

I start netmeeting, then, without connecting with anyone, I play the video. Almost immediately the video freezes and displays always the same pic, as if the webcam had turned itself off. To get it back I have to reboot. Other apps work fine, I just seem to have this problem with netmeeting.

Anyone know what is happening?
 
What other apps work with your camera? Is there anything specific you need to do with the the camera settings to get it to work with the other apps?

Also, what is it that you "get back" after a reboot? The camera? What do you mean by this? Do you mean the camera is still frozen in other apps after you've tried using it with NetMeeting?
