So I decided to give netjuke a try, and I like it much better than kplaylist. But here is the thing...
Netjuke seems to detect info in the id3 tag of mp3 header that other programs dont see. For example, I had a few mp3 files that I removed all the tags (v1 and v2.x) using id3kill and id3tagit. Then i retagged them according to the filename. However, when netjuke scanned and picked them up, the Albums were coming up as "promo" something or another. I could not get rid of them for the life of me. The only way I have found to remove that info is to re-convert the mp3 using cdex and doing a mpeg-mpeg conversion.
Any one know whats going on and how i can avoid having to re-convert?
