Wow that's neat. I always felt that is one thing Linux lacked is web front ends to make management easier. Always wanted to look into coding something like that and just never actually got around to it. I had started a bit but got side tracked and never went back to the project. I'll have to check this out.

Hi @mxnerd and @Red Squirrel. I am glad you like the NethServer project. NethServer has quite a nice trackrecord. A few years ago it was forked from SME Server to be able to become a more modular solution.
The NethServer community is very welcoming and inclusive. New members can expect a warm welcome and encouraged to ask questions.
At the moment the webui is undergoing a few major changes. A cockpit based user interface is being developed as we speak.
Besides the official modules, there are a TON of community created modules, which you can find in the NethServer Wiki
Feel free to ask me anything about NethServer or stop by at the NethServer community forums.
Have fun playing around with NethServer!

Hi @ultimatebob
NethServer has something different than webmin. However, it is a webbased UI. In contrary to webmin are all different parts within NethServer connected with each other and secure, in a way that you can not break things through the NethServer servermanager as you can with webmin.
Currently the servermanager is being redesigned and in time it will be replaced by a a cockpit based user interface.
If you look at the screenshot in this thread, you see 5 additional applications. These are 5 of almost 30 applications that are available for NethServer.
Examples of other modules: SOGo, Moodle, BackupPC, Dokuwiki, SavaPage, Wordpress, Zabbix and many MANY more...
I am curious to hear what you think. I invite you to try it. You can easily test NethServer using something like Virtualbox or ESXi or similar...

good stuff. I will look into installing some other apps I use; I am more of a debian user, but I can make that change.
