I have had refurb of this router for a year, and it works great,!
Love the Blue lights,
you can block them out if you want, but I like them.

great price for a cool , unique router.

From NE cust review:
Make sure you get the version 2, if you are looking at the previous version 1 don't get it it isn't nearly as good as this one. the old one will drop signal somewhat often and its range is far less.
Anyone who gets this please verify the version.

I thought this thread was about the Netgear WNR834B v2 at Frys, it's also available refurb for $30, it's a wireless-N router.

Sorry, I just checked the link that I had, and it seems that deal is no longer available.
I picked up four of them, two are running DD-WRT mini, and two are backups. One was missing the AC adaptor, and Netgear seems to have ignored my request for one.

Fry's CSR couldn't confirm whether these were v1 or v2 refurbs. UPC# is 606449042580. I tried calling Netgear at 888 638 4327, but got disconnected after 10m on hold for pre-sales support. (Good thing it was on speakerphone while I was browsing!)

NB: Judging from the phone menu, there is apparently NO post-sales phone tech support for free, only paid "premium support".
