So I've got a few machines on a wireless network with a Netgear MR814v1.
Firmware is up to date on all.

One day I notice that all those port forwarding configs weren't working on my desktop that had originally been assigned 192.168.0.2.
Using Look@LAN software I noticed that that IP was 'busy' but basically inused while the desktop had been reassigned to 192.168.0.4.
Using Look@LAN I tried analysing 192.168.0.2 but it won't respond to pings. Its like the router is 'hanging-on' to that address looking for the desktop to come back.
I've unplugged the router and left it that way for a good half hour to see if that might 'reset' things, but it didn't.

I'd like to release 192.168.0.2, so the desktop can eventually back at that address...

Anyone with the skillz here to help me out?

You should be able to hard-reset the router by holding the reset button down for about 10 seconds. That should get rid of it, but you'll have to set up your port forwarding again. If you're doing port forwarding, you should probably use static IP addresses anyway (so that you don't get problems like this if a host is powered down/disconnected).
