I bought one of these on Thursday from Newegg ($9.99 after rebates there). It arrived today. I unplugged my old router and put the MR814 in its place, turned everything on, and set it up in under 3 minutes. It's awesome! I know it's an entry-level router, but I've had a Netgear RT314 for about 4 years, and it was getting outdated. It had basically no features. Now I can filter sites and manage the connection

I tested out the wireless connection with my laptop and it worked great in every single room, both upstairs and downstairs. I have a 110 year old house with large rooms, including 10ft ceilings on the lower level. I even tried it next to our 50 gallon aquarium and by a few windows since the Netgear connection tips site said that would degrade the signal. It still worked fine.
The only thing I don't like is that I got the brand new MR814 v3, and it's white. v1 and v2 were silver and looked neat, but this one is white and I don't like white. That's minor. Everything else is positive
