Yeah, I bought a Thinkpad T60p with "N' capability and I'm anxious to see how much of an improvement this is over the "G" technology.

Probably so. I bought my last "G" technology router before it was official. Updated the firmware with no problem. Hope the new technology works as well!
 
this router sucks. im sending it back this week to frys.

i have to reset the router ever 45 min b/c it drops the wireless signal. no idea why. it works wired, but the wireless will be working amazing.....i got 1.5mb/sec last night.....then out of the blue the wireless light goes dark and i have to hard reset.

netgears tech support is garbage. id be better off calling my 6 year old godson and having him guess.

im going to try and find something with broadcom in it since thats what my built in wireless card is based on.

I had the same problem with a netgear router i bought 2 black fridays ago. After I threw it in the closet, I ended up using it at my 2nd coop so we could all use our laptops in the meeting room. when I got laid, i sold it to them for $30. Oddly, when I used it the office, it worked perfectly......never skipped.....i was kind of like...WTF....

oops...I mean laid off.....😱

I have a belkin router....It's actually pretty solid, but it has been sitting in my closet since I bought my motorola router a year ago.
