Netgear WGU624 intermittent connectivity - better router?

I have a Netgear WGU624. I frequently have trouble connecting to it. After much waiting and "repairing", it will usually connect and work for a few minutes, then it will disconnect. When it is connected, the signal is "very good". I know this is a terrible explanation for troubleshooting - but I was mainly wondering if there is a router that is a little more serious than something like this that you can get for $50 at best buy that may just resolve the problem? I mean I don't want a Cisco router that I have to do any serious config, but is there a "next step up" from this WGU624?

Thanks,
Dave

Are the two you are have suggested here considered "entry level"?

Has anyone got any comments on the buffalo? Those still seem pretty cheap... not that cheap is ALWAYS bad, but it seems to often be the case!
