NetGear WGT624 v3 and WG311T Disconnects

Hey,

I have a NetGear WGT624 v3 wireless b/g router with a NetGear WG311T PCI Adapter card. Anyway sometimes, especially when I am using WinMX my computer (with the wireless adapter gets disconnected from the router and I have another computer that is connected to the router (wire) and it gets disconnected from it too when the wireless one gets disconnected. Sometimes I have to click the repair on the network connection or restart the router. It gets kind of annoying. Any ideas on what is wrong?

Thanks,

Have You checked if there are any firmware updates available. Usually that sort of problems are fixed by upgrading the router's Firmware first.

Don't count out the possibility of a defective router or misconfiguration of it.
