Can anyone please tell me what "broke"?

I have a wg511 and it will no longer connect. Good signals and all. It sees the wireless points at a coffee shop, and at home, but can no longer connect.

Can anyone tell me (in Win98SE) what my TCP/IP settings should be? I mean should WINS be disabled? What should I use for DNS, and Gateway and host (in DNS)?

Do I need anything other than TCP/IP? The card does scan and see the signal(s) but I can not get to the internet.
TIA,
Dave

encryptions/security maybe? You shouldn't need to mess with the network settings, unless you know them (and there is no DHCP).

Security is Not enabled. It should at least work at home.
But I believe the DNS needs to be set, doesn't it?
Also, WINS is disabled...is that correct?
My DNS shows host as host and has 2 dns entrys. Do I have to have DNS enabled? What should be in my hosts file?
