I have a Netgear WGPS606 Print Server and an HP 1500 color laserjet printer and they have served me well for some months, except, when I try to access the printer tool box, (to make changes to the paper size which I have to do with this printer) which is done via a web page my computer cannot find the printer. I have discussed this with Netgear without success and HP refuse to help unless I pay for their service but told me that they most likely couldn't help if I did pay them. I reached a decision to re-load the printer drivers as a second printer and connect the printer direct to the computer but it wouldn't complete the task because it said it couldn't find the printer. I tried it on another machine which had not been set-up with the print server and got the same response i.e. it couldn't find the printer. It would seem that the act of setting up the print server initially has changed some setting in the printer, remember it uses a web address to accesss the tool box.
All works well otherwise. It does print but won't let me change the paper size. No I can't do this in the application. I assure you.
