Netgear RT314 and WinMX problem. Please help so my mother will leave me alone!

WinMX won't seem to work on my mother's comp. It used to until yesterday when I instaled a new HD for all the damn music she is downloading. She asked me to reinstall WinMX to see if I could make it work for other people to upload from her since no one has ever been able to get music from her. I did what she asked and now WinMX doesn't work at all. It won't connect to any servers period. The funny thing is neither will my dad's and I never touched his machine.

The only common denominator is the Netgear RT314 router they use to share their DSL. Could the router be causing the problem? WinMX worked fine before, except for uploading. During install it asked about being behind a LAN etc. but I didn'y know what to do. I tried installing using the defaults and still no go. The funny thing is that my mother installed it the first time and it worked.

If anyone has any ideas I would surely appreciate them. My 62 year old mother is driving me nuts with e-mails and phone calls because she can't feed her mp3 fix and I am out of ideas!!!!

Tell her she doesnt need to upload, DL only is better

First try instlaling the program with behind a firewall checked or however they do it. If that doesnt work, bust out the rt314 info CD and make custom filters.

I told her not to worry about uploading either, she said that is not fair and she feels guilty (hmm, but she doesn't seem to feel guilty about downloading copyrighted songs). Now I can't even get WinMX to download the server list. I don't have any idea how to configure that RT 314. WinMX worked fine behind the RT 314 before, why not now?
