Netgear RT311 and webcam

Has anyone had any luck with the Netgear RT311 or RT314 Gateway Router using Inetcam or TeVeo with a webcam? I have a cable modem with the RT311 and D-Link switch, I have opened up the required ports, removed filters and directed it to the computer with the webcam...and nothing works! I believe Inetcam and Teveo use their own web server on your computer, I am fairly new to this whole networking thing and still learning 😕 I have searched the internet but can't seem to find much information or help with people using the Netgear routers and webcams...Thanks!
