Netgear RP614 Internet Connection Issue! HELP!!!!

Dear Friends,

My friend has a 'dial up' Broadband/ADSL connection using an Alcatel Speedtouch USB modem. How can I connect this to the RP614?? I have tried connecting the modem to PC and then the CAT5 cable from the LAN card to the router. I can get a Internet connection on the PC, however can't on any other PC connected to the router. The modem is only USB to the PC, and the other connection is to the phoen line!

I personally have the same router but had no issues, but my modem has a LAN output on it!!#

Please help as I sang this router's praises and now it doesn't work!! :-(

There are only one or two Routers that can be used as a Router with external USB Mode.

Use this product: Vigor Router for USB $129

$129 Duh! Of course it is more expensive since there is only one or two of them sold.

You better off getting yourself an External Ethernet DSL Modem.
