all have 10/100 cards
0.1 = netgear rp114 router
0.2 = 98 (p3)
0.3 = 2k (p4)
0.4 = 2k (p2)
before i got the p4, the network was fine. dhcp is enabled and everything is dandy
i get the p4 and hook it up and everything is semi-fine. the 98 can get in the 2k's but the 2k's cannot get in the 98. only problem was that the p4 could not get on the internet. (cable)
i finally got it so that all of them are on the internet but the p4 is going at extremely slow speeds on the internet.
has anyone had problems like this? plz help with the solution b/c im thinking of installing 98 and i dont want to have to go thru all of that mess when its e z to fix.

update - got 2k into 98. can finally download my mass of mp3s. now what about the slow internet link to the router? when i hook it straight to the cable modem it is as fast as the other computers WHILE they are on the router. it's just this computer that is slow to the router (p4)
