netgear rp114 - how can you tell what ports are open

How can you tell which ports are open. I am having trouble with a game and the readme says to check which ports are open. I tried the address in ie 192.168.0.1 but it never opens. Any ideas?
 
Thanks poontoos. According to sheilds up none of my ports are open. Now all I have to do is open the ports needed by the game. How do I do that?
In doing that(opening the ports required by the game) will I open myself to hackers/intrusions?

I am not familar with the configuration of your particular router. However, figure out what exact ports are needed for your game
and search Netgear's website on how to open ports. If you do not feel comfortable doing that, call their tech support, it's pretty good.
