Netgear router -> DLink repeater

A client of ours has a small resort that they want to get wireless access to throughout. They have a Netgear DG834G in the main office that will be most likely relocated to a kiosk in the middle of the park, where my boss has tested and says he gets signal nearly everywhere but he would like more. I suggested repeaters in the lower reception areas and he likes the idea, and we have an account with a local DLink supplier. Can anyone hazard a guess, or tell from experience, if the DLink DWL-G710 Range Extender will be compatible with the DG834G?

I do not know if the DWL-G710 Range Extender will be compatible with the DG834G. These devices are basically "toys" that might serve the need of a family Living Room to bed room Networking.

I would not solve Technology issue on the base of having an account with a supplier.

If da Boss wants to provide solid Wireless to visitor/customers whatever.

I would leave the DG834G the way it is, lay a cable to the park install there a Mid level strong Access Point (like the Proxim line) and take it from there (might be that one AP-700 in a good spot would cover every thing).
