netgear ro 318

Is that an ISDN router? I had a 340 that is I believe the upgrade to that model.I did like it as was very easy for a beginner to setup.

I've been using one for almost a year without any complaints. I've had upward of 5 PCs connected to it sharing my ATT cable modem connection all without any problem. I did before/after connection tests and didn't really see any noticeable drop in throughput which is very nice! They (Netgear) released a f/w revision for it a few months back (3.26) which fixed some minor bugs and added a couple of new features. I still use the free version of ZoneAlarm on all of my nodes to protect my outbound traffic. The setup is very straight forward and intuitive (web based).

Paid something like $179.00 but you should be able to get it now for $129.00-149.00, maybe even cheaper...they had a $30.00 rebate on them during the holidays (check and see if it still exists).
