In this case B stands for Breakage....because that's why this model is so cheap. They've got major design flaws from poor quality circuitry to bad airflow...they overheat and the 2 that I've had only lasted about a month each before they started to malfunction. Netgear support sucks.... Save your money.
 
I too have this router I bought last year and its ok but has poor signal strength compared to newer models. Plus I had problems with it having to be reset often or network would sease to function, was like clockwork when doin bitorrents.
