netgear mr814 v2 port forwarding help

Trying to setup BT to dl some anime ... but my speds are horrible!! I read that I had to forward ports, 6881-6999 but for some reason the ports are not forwarding.

I'm using Azureus configuration wizard to check to see if the ports are forwarding but they're not ... any suggestions?

Are you making sure to type in port 6881 through 6999 to a specific IP address on the network? I don't have this problem with my MR814v2 and I'm not using DMZ or Port Forwarding.

With no port forwarding or DMZ set, your ports are open? Mind checking with this site?

I've tried opening up port#80 and still no go either. Oh yeah and I do have it set to the ip of my computer.

I tried connecting the straight from the cable modem to my computer and it still looks like my ports are not opened?!? I have the winxp firewall turned off already!
