Netgear Linksys conflict

Hello, I recently got rid of my Netgear router for a Linksys router. I want to upgrade the firmware on the router but I cant. Whenever I go to http://www.routerlogin.net, It brings me to the Netgear website. And also, when I do 192.168.1.1, I get the login screen, and when I login, the computer hangs. I searched my computer for anything netgear and got nothing. I also searched the registry and deleted anything with netgear.

Any ideas?

http://www.routerlogin.net is a specific thing for Netgear Routers, it is Not a general LogOn for other barnds routers.

If 192.168.1.1 is not working well, either the Router is No good, or your computer's Network settings are Not at default, make sure that the TCP/IP properties are all in Auto.
