I need one person to do me a small favor. If you happen to be using a Netgear FA311 NIC right now, I need you to tell me the first 6 numbers and/or letters of your NIC's MAC/Physical address.

To find this in Win9x, just run winipcfg. For Win2k/XP, goto the command line prompt and type ipconfig /all.

apparently netgear screwed up and programmed some fa311 cards with fa312 cards info if that is what you are asking for.

i found this out when i bought one of these cards and could install the fa311 drivers for it.
