Netgear and wake on lan

Ok I am trying to set up wake on lan.

I have a rt 311 router now I set up the bios for wake on lan and the network card is on even when the computer is not but i tried the wake on lan and it does not work.Now what do i have to configure in the router?

it does not have dmz mode.

Are you trying to do a WOL over the internet? I don't think that will work very easily since WOL uses MAC addresses and you can't route purely on that like you can with an IP.

yes i am trying to do it over the internet....there must be some solution! i got a mac addy and all!
