We've only had it for about a little over a month, but I like it so far. I think I remember seeing a blurb on their site about a free trial. You should go check it out!

A friend of mine uses it and loves it. She watches an insane number of movies every month.

Got it just a week ago...so far got 6 movies, 1 of which was busted (crack in DVD) so unwatchable...so far turn around time for me sending/them getting/them sending out new/me getting new is only 3 days :-O definately well worth the $20 a month if u can watch movies fast. Selection is pretty substantial too but its not the same as goign to blockbuster and seeing whats on the shelf.

yea!

I'm loving it so far. We watch at least 3 movies a week on week nights so it's worth it.

when i was in college, i used to come home, find the dvds in the mail, "watch" it immediately, and drive to the post office to return it the same day.

Also, if you click the link on their webpage saying you put the movies in the mailbox they send the next one out. If you do it right, you should have a movie for each day to watch.

search of recent & archive "netflix" would find the last 20 times this was asked, plus suggestions for what to rent.

search is sweeter than maple-syrup'd bunnycakes.

love netflix, it saves me an hour trip at blockbuster for every movie we get

thats 12-15 hours a month i dont have to spend walking around blockbuster with my wife, a 6month old boy, and a 2 year old girl...netflix is more than worth $20/month

I don't think they do that anymore. If they do, I'm missing out on it.

Just like I said in the previous 10 netflix threads in the past day,
I've had it for about 6 months.
I am happy with it.
The closest decent video store is a 20 minute drive, so for me to go rent a movie at the store pretty much kills an hour of my time.

My shipping time is always 3 days each way, so 6 days total. Many people have shorter times, but it's fine for me because it means I usually watch 3 movies a week. 12 movies a month for $20 is a good deal, especially when I don't have to drive to the video store and don't have to worry about late fees.

EDIT: I heard they used to have the option to click and tell them you returned the movie. Then they would ship you another even though they hadn't received the other one yet. But supposedly, people were abusing this so they stopped doing that.

I just started it and it's a great service. I can now finish all the Sopranos seasons without going to blockbuster and getting raped by their prices.

I have it and i like it. Im only paying $15.99/month (if you try to cancel they tell you to stay with them for a discounted price), and i think its worth it. The travel time for the DVD's is about a day, however they do not ship on the weekends. They have about everything though, more than the movie store at least.
