netflix working on asus transformer

Just got the latest firmware on my transformer and the netflix apk (246) now works for streaming movies. No root required now! All stock.

Confirmed! Just downloaded the firmware update that was released today and netflix streaming is now working. Thank you, Asus!

I got my netflix working last night...finally! Finally starting to like my Transformer a bit more with these updates. Also got the thumb keyboard app recently which really helps alot.

I wish the app would flip so i can watch a movie while its charging, but just happy it works.

Asus indicated that the update was in error. They'd like people to not use it and wait for the official release by Netflix themselves in Market.

Get the latest FW for the Transformer (it should be OTA, came out monday, but may not have hit all US yet) go to this link after you flashed http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1178773
install the apk and have fun. If you have another version of netflix you may have to uninstall it for this one to install. Its pretty damn easy to do. This may only work on US TFs but YMMV. Tons have folks have gotten this working within minutes.

BTW, this will not work if your TF is rooted, so I hear.
