Sweet! No more using IE tab.

They seem to be doing better at rotating in newer movies too.

Yep, they're using Microsoft's silverlight now. Nbc used silverlight for the beijing olympics and I thought it worked great, and think it works well with netflix so far too.

Thank god. One down, one to go. Now if I could only get my company's DB web portal to work on FF, I can kick IE to curb for good.

I think Netflix is using Silverlight 2 which hasn't been ported to Linux... Last time I checked anyway.

Now if only Netflix had some decent movies to stream.

Since its far superior to FireFox.

the malware detector thing annoys me so much... it flags my personal website every time and gives me issues.

Now, if only Silverlight would turn the screensaver off automatically when playing a movie....

Well I used it in FF on my Macbook a week ago and I didn't think too much about it.

Now they just need to make it work in linux / Chrome and we will be all set.

For all those wondering why chrome is better than FF I can only offer the reasons I use it.

It's much faster on my computer. Using latest installations of both browsers I can double click FF then Double click Chrome and then use Chrome to do a search via google before FF loads.

I don't care about adblock and I don't really use FF addons so that isn't a plus to me.

It's really pretty by default.

Going from page to page is much faster

When one tab crashes the entire browser doesn't close

All that said, I do still have FF because chrome doesn't work with everything, some of the links on my school's blackboard installation do not work. In order to pay for my flights that I take I have to log in via IE. Other than that 90% of my browsing on my desktop is via chrome. I use FF on my eeebuntu netbook and it works fine.
