I used Netflix about a year ago, they took too long to swap disks around.

They recently opened up a distro center nearby and I now get disks swapped so quick, it isn't an issue.

I dropped 4 movies in the mail Monday, got their replacements this afternoon. One day there, one day back, wow! 😀

Before it could be a week before I'd get the replacements, but now it is so quick, I'm going to stick with them.

Yeah. It depends on how close you are from their distribution center and their collection center. I'm in VA, they have one distribution center in DC, and one collection center in MD. It takes about one day for them to ship DVDs to me and one day for them to receive the returned DVDs.
 
I'm considering the Canadian equivalent of Netflix, as I always seem to get nailed with late charges at my local rental place.

I have paid the local rental place so much in late fees, I could have owned many of those movies. 🙁

Yep, I did... I don't have the hours for that job, besides, Thumper doesn't want to move to Canada. 😀 (she gets veto power over that sort of thing)

they have a distro place 1 mail day away from me... if i work at it i can get 6 movies a week for $20 per month. Better than any deal at blockbuster.

Netflix is good.
 
Its weird, I joined last month and I used to get the movies in a day or 2 max, but suddenly, they started getting really delayed. They received a movie from me today (wednesday) and the next one is supposed to arrive on MONDAY! when normally I would expect it thursday or friday latest. btw I'm in Ann Arbor Michigan and their receiving center is the next town over. I dont know where their distribution center is though.
