Hey Guys!
Guess what.
Open your front door.
See that?
That's the outside world.
In the outside world, you can get virtually anything you need, most of the time instantly!
Blockbuster, Movie Time, Roadrunner, etc., etc. have the movies right there on the shelf! Thats right, just pick it up, take it to that table with the funny looking computer, hand them your Credit Card (You don't even have to type in the number!), and you take whatever movie you want home with you.
When you're done watching (Ripping) it, take it back and get the next one. Or, better yet, get several at a time, spend all night ripping them and then take 'em back the next day!
No need to fret about what movie you will get, you actually pick 'em yourself!

Works for me.

plus i remember how blockbuster treated its customers like sh*t before netflix came around to kick their asses. not another dime for blockbuster.

My Blockbuster TotalAccess experience sucked.

They took forever to check-in store-returned movies, and took 3 days for a movie to arrive.

Netflix, locally, gets me 2 movies a week (1 at a time plan). I always return it the next day.

I've been at it 2 months but it sounds like I'm a candidate for throttling soon tho. :frown:

I hope netflix puts all of its movies online with a unlimited plan just for people who want to watch movies off streaming. That way no worrying about how slow the mail or Netflix will be. I have a feeling though Netflix won't offer a unlimited plan just for their streaming movies and even if they did there is always the other thing happening with Netflix not putting all their movies on streaming or not being able to..

I used to be throttled bad a while back, but they were sneaky about it. they would receive my returns but sit on them for a while before logging them in the system, then it would take an extra day to ship out the new dvd. I Know they were doing this because I send back all 3 this in the same mailer thingy. How is it possible to only log 1 moive and then the other 2 2 days latter? 😕 . Yeah, I'm on to you netflix. I'm so on to you. , but I was sending the DvDs back the same day I got them. Mail get's dropped off at 9am and last pickup is 6 pm. More than enough time to create a image. 😉 😉

I now sit on the movies for a day or 2(some times a week if I'm real busy) and they don't throttle me any more. I have a 2 day turn around, unless i request something that needs to be sent from another depot and not the local one(which happens with Anime)
