in a day of a 2% dip of the stock market, netflix gained almost 6% because there are rumors that amazon is going to buy it out.

crazy stuff...i don't think it's a good move for amazon.

I'm still waiting for NetFlix's view movies online feature that was supposed to be available in May (beta tested in Feb and March to only a few). This probably means it will be delayed again. :|:|:|:|

Much to my surprise, when I logged onto my Netflix account I now have this option. (I didn't have it when they first launched it.)

I browsed through the movies available and there are some decent titles in there, but I don't see the point in sitting in front of my PC watching it. This might work for people who run their computers as part of their home entertainment centers though. I have no clue how high the video quality is.

It depends on your bandwidth. Lower end broadband speeds will yield something like a badly encoded divx. If you're on the higher end of the specturm then it's like vhs. I didn't try it in full screen cause I know it'll probably look like crap though. Also I think it's only 2 channel stereo sound.
