I just signed up and got a two week trial period. During that trial period a new movie would come back to me about five days after I returned an old. Now that the trial is over and the fee has posted on my cc it has been over a week since I mailed a movie and got a new one back.

Should I blame it on the holiday or is this generally how long it takes? At a minimum, I would think you should be able to watch a movie on a Saturday and get a new one back in time for the next Saturday if you put it in the mail on Monday.
 
I've been with netflix for a couple years now, the turn around time for me is only about 4 days. I live in VA, and get the movies mainly from GA.

id blame it on the holiday, no postal workers working, no mail moving

i *usually* get movies on a weekend, watch them, sned them on monday and have them back for the weekend
 
I'm right near a distro so it's 1 day turn-around for me. I cancelled when my service went downhill because I rented so much.

Slower turnaround times?

A distribution center is about 15 miles north of me, and it takes 1-2 days for me to get my movies. Mail around here has always been a bit slow though.
 
I've received all of my movies the day after they've shipped for the past 3 weeks. There's 1 dc in bakersfield, CA which is about 75 miles south of me and one in San Jose which is about 125 miles NNW of me.

Why would your service go downhill for that reason?
