Netflix package size and other questions

I'm thinking of trying out netflix or blockbuster and I have a rather small size mailbox at the apartment complex that I live in. I have searched all over the net for measurements of the package that netflix ships in, i want to see if it will fit in the box! The post office has a habit of laying things like this on top if it doesn't fit in, and i would NOT be thrilled about this!

Could anyone measure their netflix package so i can see if I can join up!

Does anyone have any input on Netflix, blockbuster, or walmart in the Columbus, OH area?

Definitely, I'm not sold on netflix and would be willing to entertain other offers as well, obviously blockbuster or walmart even.

If it helps, this is in Columbus Ohio, so im trying to see what would have the best service there.

 
I just measured one...the package is 8" long x 6" wide, but it can easily be folded over to be 6" x 5".

I have no problem with multiple Netflix packages in my mailbox and my apartment complex uses the normal (ie, small) apartment mailboxes.
 
Not very big. A little taller then a CD, and the length is equal to maybe a dvd case from top to bottom.
The Netflix envelope is all paper, its a pretty neat little design.
 
It's about the size of a DVD case (Netflix's). Blockbuster's is a bit smaller (edit: I think). The short dimension on both is just barely larger than the diameter of a DVD (about 6")
 
Alright thanks for the replies thus far, I'm just concerned as to whether it will fit or if they will try to jam it in there and break this disc!

Can you stick a CD or DVD in a paper sleeve into your mailbox? If you can or can't is your answer lather164 🙂
 
Well it looks good... after realizing how dumb i was, i stuck a cd in a sleeve and layed it in there, and just like that realized it would work!
