Netflix: Longest you've waited for a movie?

Love Netflix, I'm near one of their distro centers so turnaround is great.

...What's not so great is how long I've been waiting for a couple of New Releases. It's already been a couple of weeks now since 'Underworld' has been in my queue, I mean I'm sure the movie was decent and all but sheesh!

I can only imagine how long it'll be before I get 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico'!

What's the average time to get a New Release anyway?

mail movie on day 1, netflix receives movie and sends out next movie on day 2, receive new movies on day 3 (unless it's a weekend as saul said)

i love netflix!

i think he's talking about waiting for movie to become available, not turnaround time.

i have had some movies where after waiting forever, they eventually emailed me and said they weren't even going to attempt to stock it anymore. i'm happy with the service overall though.

Let's see, put movies into list on Monday, NetFlix claims they are sent out on Tuesday, they don't send them out until Wednesday, they arrive the following Monday, are put back into their return evelopes on Monday, put into the mail Tuesday, arrive back at Netflix on Thursday, account canceled Thursday evening just before the trial period ended (thank goodness).

Might give them a try again if they open a closer distribution center (though supposedly the movies I got came from one in Cleveland), but until then with the volume of movies I watch it is still much cheaper and more convenient to drive down to the video store.

I lost the white sleeve the DVD comes in.

Netflix rules (so far). I'm doing the free trial and for me so far, it's been
Day 1 - Netflix mails
Day 2 - DVD travels
Day 3 - Arrives in my mail!

I'm doing the walmart.com trial, and i get movies every other day. one day turn around since i live 13 miles from the distribution center.
