Its now taking them 3-4 days for my movies to be recieved and then another 2-3 days to recieve another one back.... It used to be next day on everything.

They just lost a customer.

I agree. Also all the movies I really want to see are on wait, i must have 12 at the top of my list that have been on wait for a couple weeks at least. I was hoping the slow turnaround was due to holiday mail.

Why would signing up again speed them up?

I got rid of my Neflix account about a month ago. I'm watching less movies but atleast I'm not paying for bad service.

I cancelled not too long ago after the free trial, years ago you could tell them when you shipped a DVD back and they would cross ship you the next ones, it was much better. Oh well, guess it wasn't meant to last...

Because Netflix will slowdown the deliveries to people who are returning movies as soon as they get them.

"Blockbuster doesn't have late fees anymore."

riiiiiight. you just go ahead and believe what they tell you. keep a movie for more than a week and see if they dont charge a restocking fee. and netflix throttles if you use it too much. bittorrent is getting better and better everyday.

yeap i cancelled myself. Going with blockbuster while the service will be about the same i get 2 free rentals a month instore. that sorta makes up for it. but if it gets as bad (nearly 2 week turnaround) i will cancel.

though i do like netflix's layout (webpage) better then blockbuster.

I've got Blockbuster now and I've only experienced slow delivery for obscure movies. Most of the time, the movies will arrive within 3 days of being shipped. Sometimes 2.

The free in-store rentals are great for games.

I hear you can use the free rentals instore more than 2 times a month.

Is this true ?

because when you use a new email and new credit card, they treat the account as NEW user till the high rate of return gets flagged. I did it 3 times already.. but theres nothing good i like so i haven't sign up again..

ya, getting similar results here, and I haven't been doing as many movies per month as I used to. I think their service is suffering because they have been forced to lower rates so much. Back when it was $20+ per month for 3 discs, they had pretty darn good service for me. Now that it's like $15 for the same amount, service has been cut easily in half.

It's a tough market for them to compete in. I just hope they can find a way to improve service. I've not heard anything awesome about any of their competitors, so I'll stick around for now.

Some have reported it working but you have to go to different stores to do it. You won't be able to use the same coupons at the same store twice. I accidently took the coupons in to our store not knowing my wife used them already and was quickly told "nope".

I haven't tried it at a different store myself because I'm just too damn lazy to drive over to the next nearest Blockbuster. :D

You guys need to learn to appreciate movies that came out >1 month ago. The only time I ever wait for a movie is when I queue up a show that is not yet released. Speaking of which, when the hell is "The Wire - Season 3" coming out?

As long as I get more movies/$/month with more convenience that the local video store, I will stick with netflix.

If that is what is causing the problem, then I don't blame them for slowing it down to you. I'm not lecturing on copying movies, but if you're making it so blatant then you deserve it. Dumbass.

heh i am not either. but it started takeing longer and longer to get my movies. when it started i would be able to watch 3 (would watch them on saturday and send them out monday. usually got new ones on thursday or friday). Then it started takeing longer. when i cancled it was takeing nearly a week and a half for them to send me new movies.

so i was going from nearly 15 movies a month to maybe 9 or less. This was not even for new release's!
