Netflix has a long memory........

I signed back up yesterday after two years of non use.


Suddenly, my account has a hold.


Apparently, in January of 2004 I hit them with a credit card chargeback.


I told them I didn't remember why, probably because I couldn't figure out any other way to cancel.

The lady says shes having it reviewed for the hold to be lifted and some mystical department without phones will email me telling me what if anything I need to do to be allowed to have their service.



I guess they can have five days. After that I'll just get block buster I guess if I have to.

It's great I rent a ton of HD-DVDs, they basically have any that are currently out.

Oh and ya lots of companies remember this stuff 🙂 I did a chargeback on Sony Online Entertainment because of the fact they charged me for 6 month subscription AFTER I cancelled. So I tried to reopen my account for a different game a few months ago, and my whole SOE account is locked. I had completely forgotten I had the chargeback done so I called and he told me I had, I told him "Oh ya!! That's right you guys tried to steal my money!"
