Netflix just tweeted saying its down on the East Coast, which is where I... um... get my feed. ;)

I've got a big Steam download on the go so I haven't checked yet. Anybody having problems? It's a big bummer if it's down on xmas eve.

Had a couple of stuck "loading screens" when trying to bring up the next episode of Breaking Bad like 30 minutes ago, but it eventually loaded.

I was gonna post a thread about this. Set up my moms new audio system and wanted to see how it worked with her Roku box. NOTHING comes up. Not Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and even some of the dinkier ones with free movies are overloaded.

I would bet that theres more people streaming movies this Christmas than any previous year. In fact I bet folks busted open their presents early and found all kinds of streaming boxes, with the Roku being most popular.

That wouldnt bother me except the video file I tried to stream on my Logitech Revue has an error and wont play past a certain point. I was just about to start the assault of Helms Keep.

:(

I was watching on a new Apple TV earlier and paused a program. Hope it hasn't dumped the cache. Now my sister is watching recorded stuff on the DVR, so I haven't tried to resume watching.

The solution is obvious, kick your sister out of the house.

Ewww. I hope I don't have to use Amazon Prime to watch stuff....

Its fine on a Roku with the dedicated app. On a Logitech Revue you have to use the web browser and it sucks.
On a computer its fine if your system is fast enough to not get bogged by Flash.

I just got done streaming "The Grey" or whatever that re-make of the much better "The Edge" was...no problems here.

Although Yahoo!'s front page is reporting it, so that means it has to be old news by now.

I wrote amazon a bunch of nasty emails about how shitty their software on the otherwise awesome kindle fire HD is today. Maybe I'll call them every day.
