So I got movies one day, watched all 3 and sent them back the same day. Two days later they still haven't recieved them, but usually they report recieving the day after I mail them.

I think they put a limit on how many you can rent in a month, no matter how good your movie watching skills are.

They won't admit it but they do limit the number of dvd's they ship. I have experimented with this and have proven it to my own satisfaction although others would argue the point.

I thought that also about limiting the # of movies but the last few months they have been faster than ever getting them to me. They get them the next day and I have them the day after that.

"burn and return" seems like a waste of time and money to me, since
* You may need to compress the movie to fit, lowering quality
* DVD+/-R are fragile and do cost money (however little)
* If you want to watch a movie again in 6 months you can always just put it back in your queue

(This is ignoring the moral and ethical issues, since many here care naught for morals or ethics 🙂 )

If it looks like you'll rent more than 9 movies ina month
They bust the bottleneck maneuver and stall your turn around.

It's been proven in independent test.

Best thing is Blockbusters (in store) monthly pass

Netflix has openly said that they do slow down service for people who rent a lot. I saw it in action when I had an account.

I'd like to get the blockbuster in store pass, but the laziness factor could result in me getting even less movies. When I was living in a place where I'd have to walk down about two blocks to a mailbox, I didn't send out any movies for about a month.

Plus they don't have as good of selection in the store.
