NETBOTZ surveillance software, how do I get this to run on one of our servers

I don't have any personal experience with their products, but I did some searching and from what I can find, you cannot purchase their software by itself. It only comes preinstalled on (and only runs on) their proprietary "appliances". I find it hard to believe that the software won't run on any other hardware, but I also haven't been able to find reports from anyone that was able to make it work.
