Netbooks and Youtube

I've just got an acer 11.6 inch netbook. It has a discrete ati video card on it, I think its the 4420 or something like that. It has 2GB of ram and a AMD Neo cpu. When I go to play videos on Youtube that are 720P or 1080P its choppy as hell. Or any site that has flash really. If I go on my Laptop which is really old and has less hardware specs than the netbook it works fine. Why is that????
