I am planning on getting a netbook before I go overseas and was wondering what companies if any have a warranty that covers everything that would be covered if I was in the US. For reference, I would buy it in California and bring it to the Philippines. Also, what is a good netbook for under $500 with tax and everything. It has to be lower than $500, total price.

no dice. works other way around too.

they probably charge more in that market and may have specific language differences too (such as keyboard).

just have to relay it back to the usa.

in the UK computers are 30%+ for the same isht you get in the usa. they'd like to keep it that way.

My aspire one came with some documentation that said 1 year international travelers warranty, appears to be standard as opposed to an additional cost warranty. Might be worth looking into that at the acer website to see exactly what the terms are.
