Netbook PSU amp notation

Hello all,

I'm trying to determine if a power supply is going to work with a netbook. I don't have a lot of electrical knowledge so this has me stumped.

The adapter says it's output is 10-20V and 3.0A
The laptop says the input should be 19V and 2,15A

I have no idea what 2,15A means.

Thanks in advance.
 
PS. My first thought is that it is the non-american notation (so it would be 2.15 in american), but everything else on the computer uses the American standard, so I didn't think that was the case.
