NETBEUI, XP AND DIAL UP

I know how to install netbeui on a network adapter in XP but does anyone have any idea how to install Netbeui on a dial up connection in XP. If you try to install>protocol> the netbuei option will not show up like it will for a regualr network adapter. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
