Net works great except I cant game online

As soon as I switched to Charter ,,,, from uverse.

With uverse I was able to play all my online games like.

UT3 FEAR COMBAT , God Amonst Us, NFS series.


These games cant connect for online multiplayer game. Thanks. My friend has Charter and his games work fine. net is fine and online play is solid. Please someone consider helping me on this big issue.
