Ok, we just got 2 more PC's in and i need help with going on the net with them 2.

I have 1 PC upstairs with Cable modem going into a router connecting that to the PC, Slot 1

and having a line running from the router all the way downstairs to ANOTHER router ( port WAN ) by doing that i THOUGHT i can go online with just 2 more lines coming from that router to the 2 pc. but it isn't working, how can i overcome this?...

You needed a switch downstairs, not another router, but that being said, does the router downstairs have an uplink port? If so try that instead of the wan port. Also are both routers acting as DHCP servers? Can you currently ping between the upstairs and downstairs pc's? Inquiring minds want to know! 🙂

Also the brand and model number of the routers will help people here in diagnosing your issue.
