For like, a year Windows Update has been trying to install the Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 2.0 (KB928365), but it fails every time. Recently I"ve been trying to get Videora iPod Converter to work but can't seem to get that to work so I posted the error message that I received and one of the people on their forums told me i have a problem with my .net framework. Could anyone tell me if it's a big deal to like repair it or take it totally out and reinstall it if I can? Or if they have any other ideas to fix my problem.

Yes you can uninstall/reinstall the 2.0 framework. I have done it in the past to fix issues with the framework, but I have never had your type of issue. I would recommended trying.

KB928365 has been superseded by Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 (KB110806), you might have to download Windows Install Clean up utility and remove both and install the SP1 update.

Do I need to uninstall the 1.1 framework as well? Just totally get rid of all the .net and then reinstall it all?
